About Me

Welcome to my professional space! I’m Alexander Blythe, an Aerospace Engineer with a rich background in environmental testing for space missions, particularly for NASA’s Mars Ascent Vehicle. My journey in this fascinating field of aerospace began with a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Alabama in Huntsville, a path that has since led me through various challenging and innovative projects.

My expertise lies in conducting comprehensive environmental tests and in the development and execution of critical simulations using MATLAB and Python. These skills have been instrumental in my contributions to hypersonic modeling and data analysis, where I have focused on pushing the boundaries of aerospace technology. My work has ranged from hypersonic hot air tunnel testing to overseeing system-level environmental dynamics, showcasing a versatile and adept approach to aerospace testing methodologies.

As a Certified Test Conductor, I’ve designed and led dynamic testing initiatives, ensuring each project aligns seamlessly with program requirements. My role often extends beyond technical responsibilities, involving leadership in project reviews, strategy planning, and cross-functional team collaboration. This experience has honed my skills not only as an engineer but also as a project manager, where I effectively integrate technical expertise with team leadership and project execution.

Outside the professional sphere, I am committed to continuous learning and am currently pursuing a Master of Space Operations at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where I delve into mission planning, space law, and cybersecurity in space operations. These studies complement my hands-on experience, allowing me to stay at the forefront of aerospace innovation.

I invite you to explore my portfolio, where you’ll find detailed insights into my projects, skills, and the impact of my work. Whether you’re a fellow professional, a potential collaborator, or just an enthusiast in the world of aerospace engineering, I hope you find my journey and contributions to this field both inspiring and informative.
