AERO / PRIMARY REMEDIATION FIXTURE - 2026-09-19

Pair 2 truth contract and execution

Alex Blythe - positive, repeat, and mandatory-retained negative runs.

FINAL DISPOSITION

TWO_FLUID_CHT_POSITIVE_TRUTH = NOT_ESTABLISHED

Pair 2 is now the primary remediation fixture. Pair 1 was not rerun or used to rescue this decision. The later bounded continuation established the thermal positive truth at T2.

Frozen before execution

  • 1-D counterflow screening prediction: 8,991 W duty; hot outlet 613.98 K; cold outlet 306.88 K.
  • Full closure: q_hot_signed + q_cold_signed + dE_solid/dt.
  • Positive field snapshots: 60, 80, 100 s. Negative snapshots: 1, 2, 3, 4 s, including the required final field.
  • Predeclared limits: 0.5 K outlet/field stability, 5% duty and total closure, 5% solid storage, 0.1% interface balance, 15 K outlet prediction error, and 20% duty prediction error.

The new bookkeeping shows that the final hot/cold mismatch can be partly explained by storage, but the positive state is still thermally evolving over the declared late window. That prevents a positive-truth claim.

State boundary

TWO_FLUID_CHT_POSITIVE_TRUTH = ESTABLISHED for Pair 2 after the bounded continuation. The CHT profile remains ARCHITECTURE_SUPPORTED_THRESHOLDS_NOT_ESTABLISHED. HX-CFD-QUAL-01 remains FAILED_NUMERICAL_GATES and withheld. HX-03 and HX-04 Stage B remain blocked.
